YOGA
Each class will have all aspects of yoga including postures, mindful movement, conscious breathing, deep relaxation and meditation with an equal focus on building physical strength and maintaining a healthy range of motion in the joints. A session may include aspects of Hatha, Yin, Zen and Taoist yoga practices with a focus on seasonal alignment based on the principle of 5 Element Theory. My classes are between 75 and 90 minutes to allow for a full and authentic experience of yoga that allows for full integration of the experience leaving you the practitioner feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated.
The classes are fully inclusive and accessible for all with lots of options for every ‘body’. We pride ourselves on offering ‘real yoga for real people’ in a supportive, friendly and non-intimidating environment. The sessions encourage self enquiry for those looking to ease the stresses and tensions of modern living in a safely held space.

Yoga courses are normally run as 4 week pre-booked blocks @ £40.
Classes are 75 or 90 minutes and you will receive a recording for any week missed and have the option to offer your place to a friend.
QIGONG FOR HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Qi translates as ‘energy ‘or ‘life force’ and gong means to refine or cultivate that energy for the improvement of health and vitality for inner harmony and balance. This powerful form of mindful movement can be deeply nourishing and supportive for anyone at any age with no restrictions for practice.
Each 60 minute session incorporates grounding techniques, self massage practices, joint release exercises and flowing forms to mobilise the joints, improve balance and stability along with breathing/meditation practices to strengthen the lungs and instil a deeper sense of relaxation and inner calm. They are accessible to everyone from the beginner to the experienced practitioner and can be particularly effective in helping to build inner resilience, relieving feelings of anxiousness, stress, overwhelm and burnout, bringing us back to a place of balance and ease. This gentle but strengthening practice is also great for anyone recovering from long term illness or adapting to diagnosis of conditions that will impact long term health.
